Meet Mrs. Van Camp
I graduated from Taylor University in rural Indiana in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation I started teaching kindergarten at Kingston. Two years later I began teaching third grade. At that time I began my Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy. I received my degree in 2006 from Walden University. This year is my 17th year teaching at Kingston and my fifth year teaching fourth grade.
I have four children who are a joy in my life. My daughter is in seventh grade and loves reading. She plays volleyball and is on her track team at school. My youngest son is nine and loves his sports. He is in the fifth grade this year as well and plays football for the Imlay City Junior Spartans. Our oldest took drivers ed this spring and is learning to drive. He is a sophomore in high school. Our other son is 13 and in the eighth grade. He plays hockey for the '06 Lapeer Storm. In my free time I love watching sports as well as traveling. I love the University of Michigan too. Go Blue!
