Meet Mrs. Van Camp
I graduated from Taylor University in rural Indiana in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation I started teaching kindergarten at Kingston. Two years later I began teaching third grade. At that time I began my Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy. I received my degree in 2006 from Walden University. This year is my 16th year teaching at Kingston and my fourth year teaching fourth grade.
I have four children who are a joy in my life. My daughter is in sixth grade and loves reading. She plays volleyball and is on her track team at school. My youngest son is nine and loves his sports. He is in the fourth grade this year as well and plays football for the Imlay City Junior Spartans. The oldest likes to build all sorts of contraptions with K'nex and Legos. He is a freshmen in high school and on the bowling team. Our other son is 12 and in the seventh grade. He plays hockey for the Lapeer Storm. In my free time I love watching sports as well as traveling. I love the University of Michigan too. Go Blue!
