Meet Mrs. Van Camp
I graduated from Taylor University in rural Indiana in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation I started teaching kindergarten at Kingston. Two years later I began teaching third grade. At that time I began my Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy. I received my degree in 2006 from Walden University. This year is my 19th year teaching at Kingston and my seventh year teaching fourth grade.
We have four children who are a joy in our lives. Our daughter is a freshman in high school and loves reading and theater. Our youngest son is 12 and loves his sports. He is in the seventh grade this year as well and plays football for the Imlay City Junior Spartans. Our oldest son is now a senior in high school! Our other son is 15 and plays hockey for the Lakeland Falcons. In my free time, I love watching sports as well as traveling. I love the University of Michigan too. Go Blue!
